Gov. Kemp had a press conference in which he has authorized the following:

  • Licensing for out-of-state doctors.
    State to extending state tax filing to July 15 to coincide with national extension.
  • Banned large gatherings, orders shelter in place for medically fragile.
    The distribution of equipment to the different health districts including N-95 masks and ventilators.
  • Georgia will receive second delivery of personal protective equipment in the next 5 days
  • Health care providers to cancel elective procedures to free up bed space.
  • 20 emergency housing units constructed at the state’s public safety training facility in Forsyth.
  • Families who get SNAP will get an additional $100 in nutrition benefits.
    Executive order to those who are “medically fragile” to shelter in place.

  • Executive order to close all bars and nightclubs and will ban gatherings of 10 or more people.

  • The Dept. of Public Health will can shut down businesses for noncompliance.

Executive order takes effect at noon tomorrow through noon April 6.

From what I have been able to gather, there is testing available in four of the six counties that make up the 13th District and over 20 that have been setup across the state.

Marietta – Cobb Co.
Morrow – Clayton Co.
Douglasville – Douglas Co.
Fayetteville – Fayette Co.
